About the Business
Jigsaw is a British company that has been involved in the design, manufacturing and retailing of clothes and accessories for over forty years. Founded by John Robinson in 1969, Jigsaw is still privately owned by him and his wife Belle. The first Jigsaw stores opened in Hampstead and Brighton and the company has since expanded to over 40 stores in the UK and a successful e-commerce business. Additional lines have been created with the launch of Jigsaw Junior, Jigsaw Home and Jigsaw Menswear. In 2004 Jigsaw ventured into the West Coast of the USA where it currently trades from four stores and online at www.jigsaw-london.com.
The success of Jigsaw is rooted in the company philosophy; to sell affordable, fashionable clothes in stylish surroundings. Jigsaw remains a brand which is as quintessentially British as the day the first store opened. We have a strong identity inspired by country living, quirkiness, irreverence and humour.
