Hi! My name is Maria Darling, and I set up my business because I was fed up with High Street shoes that all looked the same and always bought them whilst on holiday. Through my research I found other women felt the same and so the idea of bringing the customer quality shoes & handbags in unusual styles and subtle colours at prices less than they'd expect, was bound to be a winner! So Shoes Glorious Shoes was born in 2006 as a mobile shoe boutique selling the collection through shoe parties in the home, workplace, charity events, corporate and private viewings. Yes that's right; we bring the shoes and handbags to you! I personally put the business formula to the test as a pilot franchise over a two year period to make sure it worked. The shoe party franchise in the UK was launched in April 2008 offering women new business opportunities selling shoes, boots and handbags.
